The classes are limited to 5 students and focus on stress reduction, gently building core strength, relaxing what is constricted, increasing focus, and experiencing our true nature. No prior yoga experience necessary, yet deeply satisfying for experienced practitioners.

Private Sessions

Private classes are the most efficient way to learn and integrate the tools of yoga, whether your yoga practice  is every day, occasional classes, or brand new. 

Your personal intention and condition will guide what we pay attention to, whether it be to address a specific  theraputic or developmental goal or simply to establish a generalized practice for your home use. 

No matter what your goals, you will learn effective techniques to deepen your yoga experience, increase focus, manage your stress response, and increase your well-being. Together we will create a practice that is calibrated for you. 


Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is when we use the tools of yoga to address your specific theraputic goals on any and all levels. Together we design a practice or tool-box that you will use on a regular basis and that we will modify as needed. 

Yoga Therapy may help you manage symptoms such as low energy, anxiety, pain, poor sleep, high stress, poor focus, or issues related to grief, end of life care, chronic health conditions, surgery and other treatments, and acute conditions.

A Yoga Therapist’s training includes general yoga teacher training plus an additional 800 hours of study specific to applying the tools of yoga in for structural, physiological, and mental/emotional health. 

I have provided Yoga Therapy to clients since 2008 and am certified as a Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.



The first private session is approximately 2 hours to allow time to discuss your intentions and to design and teach you a practice that addresses your goal(s). Subsequent sessions are one hour and focus on adjusting and refining your practice. 

Private sessions at my Manhattan apartment or Amenia or Pawling offices (or at your home or office if not too far from me) are $150. Four sessions are $500.
